FresherThanChris.com was invited to see the presentation of the spring/summer 2010 of the Band Of Outsiders/BOY by Band of Outsiders. Both collections made me very excited, but I do feel like the BOY collection was much better than menswear. Check out more for pics of presentation below.
Although the menswear pieces were nothing short of amazing, there was very little change or innovation in their collection shown. They kept up with their signature urban sophisticate aesthetic, showing dip dye shirts, double breasts jackets, cropped length khaki’s and standard navy blazers.
The Womenswear pieces could easily be seen on the likes of your favorite celebrities and your most trendy females. Boyfriend Blazers, form fitting skirts with patterns, and light weight cardigans were all present. The general aesthetic of the line was breezy, casual and effortless sexy.
Ran into Grace Coddington, creative director from Vogue Magazine. I was so elated to meet her because she’s an amazing stylist and really fights for fashion. If you haven’t seen the September Issue, you should. You would really understand why.
